[ Shipment tracking for WordPress ]

Where's my shipment?

The question your customers ask most, answered on your own site. ShipTrack Pro puts road, rail, sea and air shipments on one public tracking page, with notifications and an audit trail behind it.

  • WordPress 6.5 or later
  • PHP 8.1 or later
  • Updates Through the WordPress updater
  • Seats Production sites only

[ L01 ] One route

One tracking page. Four ways to move.

Your customer does not care whether their shipment is on a truck, a train, a ship or a plane. They want one page that says where it is. ShipTrack Pro draws every mode on the same page, in OpenStreetMap or Google Maps.

  1. Road Depot Collected and scanned
  2. Rail Rail hub Loaded for the port
  3. Sea Port Crossing, position updated
  4. Air Airport Last long hop
  5. Door Delivered

[ L02 ] Self-checking numbers

Every number carries its own check.

GBR Country LDN Branch 20260928 Date 000483 Sequence A6 Check
The last two characters are computed from everything before them, so the number can tell when it has been copied down wrong.

[ L03 ] Try it

Change one character. Watch it get caught.

Check pair A6 matches

Well formed and self-consistent. This is the only kind of number the plugin's public lookup will take to the database.

Shape · Country-Branch-YYYYMMDD-NNNNNN-CC

After the check · the shipment lifecycle A valid number goes on to the lookup, which shows where the shipment is in these steps.
  1. Pending
  2. Confirmed
  3. Picked up
  4. In transit
  5. Out for delivery
  6. Delivered

Side states On holdExceptionReturnedCancelled On hold returns to transit before delivery. It never skips straight to delivered.

How
A Luhn mod-36 check pair, computed over the country, branch, date and sequence.
What it catches
Every change to a single character, and almost every swap of two neighbours, the mistakes people make copying a number off a label.
Why it matters
The public tracking page checks the pair first, so a typo is answered at once and never costs a database query.

[ L04 ] In the box

Everything behind the tracking page.

  • M01

    Road, rail, sea and air

Each mode with its own routing on the map, all on the one tracking page your customers bookmark.

  • M02

    OpenStreetMap or Google Maps

OpenStreetMap on every licence. Google Maps on the tiers that include it, falling back to OpenStreetMap on its own if that ever lapses.

  • M03

    A lifecycle with rules

Shipments move only along the transitions the plugin allows. A held parcel cannot jump straight to delivered, so the history a customer reads is one that happened.

  • M04

    Customers hear first

Email notifications when a shipment changes status, written from templates you can edit and preview.

  • M05

    Every change on the record

An audit log of what changed and who changed it, filterable by action and date.

  • M06

    Your name on the page

Your company name, logo and colours on the tracking page, so it reads as part of your site.

[ L05 ] Licensing

A licence that degrades. Never one that breaks.

  1. [ 01 ]

    Staging is free

Seats count production sites only. Staging copies, managed-host previews and local installs never take one.

  2. [ 02 ]

    Lapses are gentle

If a licence lapses, Google Maps falls back to OpenStreetMap and rail and sea to an indicative route. Your customers' tracking page keeps working; only creating and editing shipments waits for renewal.

  3. [ 03 ]

    Offline is not expired

A grace period keeps a site running when the licence server cannot be reached. Revocation and suspension are the only things that skip it.

  4. [ 04 ]

    Updates the WordPress way

New versions arrive through WordPress's own plugin updater, checked against a signed licence.

FAQ

What counts as a seat?

A production site. Staging copies, managed-host previews and local installs are recognised automatically and never use one; the table above lists exactly how.

What happens when my licence expires?

Your customers' tracking page keeps working. Google Maps falls back to OpenStreetMap and rail and sea to an indicative route, and creating or editing shipments waits until you renew.

Can I move a licence to a new site?

Yes. Free the old site's seat from the licence portal, then activate the licence on the new one.

How do updates arrive?

Through WordPress's own plugin updater, like any other plugin, for the year your licence covers.

I have lost my licence key.

Ask whoever sold you the licence. Keys are stored encrypted, so the same key can be looked up and sent to you again, and every site already activated with it keeps working.

What does it need to run?

WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.1 or later.

Answer the question before they ask it.
